5 October seems like the most in-demand date to release a film. As of now, the producers of four films — ENGLISH VINGLISH, ISHKQ IN PARIS, JAYANTA BHAI KI LUV STORY and KLPD KISMET LOVE PAISA DILLI — have zeroed on that date. In fact, Preity Zinta [ISHKQ IN PARIS] and Amit Chandra [KLPD – KISMET LOVE PAISA DILLI] are launching the promo of their respective films on Thursday, 9 August. The promos will also announce 5 October as the release date.
* Sunny Leone will begin filming Ekta Kapoor’s RAGINI MMS 2 from December/January.
* Since both SHOOTOUT AT WADALA and RACE 2 star Anil Kapoor and John Abraham in pivotal roles, there’s talk that SHOOTOUT AT WADALA, which was slated for release on 18 January 2013, will be shifted to another date. Most probably, April.
* Contrary to the news doing the rounds of the industry, SON OF SARDAAR has *not* been postponed. It’s arriving on 13 November [Diwali]
