First half of the film is nice and it establishes the conflict points. The second half is also nice, but for a few dull moments. The climax part makes up for the dullness and gives you the satisfaction of watching good film when you come out of the theater. The plus points are Sekhar’s trade mark beautiful moments, casting, dialogues, direction and a strong mother sentiment. On the flip side, a better background music and shorter runtime would have helped the film further. On a whole, Life is Beautiful is a good movie. Go and watch it!

Life Is Beautiful is no different. It is the tale of youngsters living in a colony, the divide between the rich and the middle class (the film tends to veer more positively towards the middle class), the squabbles between the two classes, the festivals, the celebrations, and their outlook on life. Life is Beautiful may be long, it may be similar to Happy Days and have certain flaws, but this Sekhar Kammula film appeals to our emotions and experience of a certain way of life.Visit Site for more
this time he has taken one step higher than ‘Happy Days’ and made it more of a family entertainer instead of a sugary youth entertainer. However, he didn’t miss his signature formula. ‘Happy Days’ had college, here it is a colony. That had seniors vs juniors, this had Gold Phase guys vs B Phase guys. That had Kamalini and this had Anjala.Though the youth format is still intact, Kammula mixed his recipe with a strong sentiment of family and this is sure to squeeze the hearts.Overall, the film will still score because it is clean, it is refreshing and it has the flavor which pulls both the youth and family audiences. If only the length was trimmed and the ending was not that abrupt, the film would have been much effective.Bottomline: Real life may not be beautiful but this one is..Visit Site for more
The film is filled with multiple emotions just like in Happy Days, but the narrative is much more slow in this flick. The director was successful in extracting good performances from the youngsters.Sekhar is undoubtedly an expert when it comes to portraying the most delicate emotions in a classy manner. He succeeds in capturing the innocence of adolescence, but the pace of the storytelling is slow, particularly towards the second half.

Life is Beautiful's First half is entertaining with right mix of comedy, romance and drama.Movie Director seems to have lost the tempo in the second half, as the movie is good in parts. When ever there is boring moment, Sekhar Kammula adds some emotion content which makes audience end in tears. In spite of having few entertaining scenes, second half of the movie has been made very heavy with over dosage of mother sentiment. there is no proper connection among few scenes and some times you feel Life is Beautiful is very routine one. Go and Watch the film with low expectation and when you have time to spare. First half of the movie is a jolly ride. And the problem is with the never ending second half but it contains some excellent sentimental scenes more particularly towards the climax.

Life Is Beautiful is a coming of age story of six youngsters and the movie is set in the beautiful nostalgic world of a working-middle class neighborhood. The film tracks the journey of youth of Sunshine colony through the different seasons, festivals, romances, street cricket, colony fights, and family gatherings. Verdict: Some emotional scenes in the second half and the climax are enough for the paisa vasool of your ticket. Don't watch the film with expectations.
