(The Apple Watch Series 2 is framed in a ceramic case, while the Apple Watch Series 1 case and Apple Watch Sport are made of composite materials. The release of the original Apple Watch with the S1 chip is discontinued. The Apple Watch Series 1 is just as new as the Apple Watch Series 2. It would be safe to say that the Apple Watch was released too early. In terms of hardware, the processor is clearly not up to date, and the replacement of software from Watch OS 1.0 to Watch OS 3 affected the operation of the device.
Apple does not release hardware products in beta, but the original Apple Watch can only be described as a beta version of a smart watch. The original is not designed to track swimming activity, but you can safely not take them off in the pool, hot tub, or even going to swim in the sea or ocean (depending on where you plan to spend your vacation). Series 2 is designed for a higher level of water resistance, but tracking of the swimming activity of these devices is also limited.

The Apple Watch Sport display is clearer in terms of readability in the open air than the sapphire displays on the stainless steel model, but the brightness, which ranges from 450 nt to 1000 nt on Series 2, allows you to fully feel the difference. But it still needs to be tested in practice.
