In terms of the damage that is done per second of the spear is extremely high, so just re-banking when you're in need is more efficient. Switch to a whip once you don't need to heal. Easy to address.

Toktz ket-xil is a fantastic ranged defence for a small penality for attacking from a distance. A good trade-off. It's the Ring of Life - Mainly for absence of any other thing to
cheap RS gold give. Things could go horribly wrong as I own some expensive stuff. I might replace it with an archer's ring if I ever buy one.
