De Bethune DB25 hands-on midnight blue and white night watch

In 2014, De Bethune in Switzerland released these very simple, forward-looking and beautiful versions of the DB25 collection called DB25 Midnight Blue and DB25 White Night.De Bethune DB25 replica watches. The only difference between the two De Bethune DB25 models is the dial-a pair that fits perfectly together. De Bethune is undoubtedly one of my favorite high-end watch manufacturers for a number of reasons. The brand has a devil-like caring attitude and a maverick spirit that enables them to release the watch they want, without seemingly interested in other watch industry ideas or concerns.

This helped them make something amazingly beautiful and technically interesting, while also developing technologies and features that others didn't have.

Let's start with talking about these De Bethune DB25 watches, which is why people buy swiss luxury watches from independent brands. Not only does De Bethune produce its own movements, it also produces some of the most interesting mechanical movements both technically and visually. Although the De Bethune DB25 midnight blue and white Night watch looks relatively simple on one side of the dial, it is flipped to reveal the full details and design-even the most basic movement of De Bethune.

Inside these versions of De Bethune DB25 is the self-made De Bethune movement DB2024 automatic winding movement. The DB2024 consists of 287 parts, showing only hours and minutes, has a 6-day ultra-long power reserve between two "self-regulating" barrels, and runs at a modern frequency of 4Hz (28,800 bph).

You should also note that De Bethune does not use a standard balance wheel. One of the DB2024 movements is patented by De Bethune. In addition to its unique shape, it is also made of titanium and has a solid platinum weight. The hairspring has a flat terminal curve (patented) and a triple-chute shock absorption system (patented). Even the design of its unique silicon escape wheel is patented. Therefore, although the basic principle of this movement is the same as most other automatic movements, the method used by De Bethune to produce its mechanical movement is quite different.

Why is it so important? Well, this goes back to the root reason why people like to make sports in-house. The (logically) question commonly asked by many watch collectors is: "If a watch looks and behaves so similarly to a watch made by a company like ETA, why should I buy a replica luxury watches with an internal movement?" The best response is to say that their movements look different, are better decorated and have unique features. When these homemade movements use special know-how, materials and patents to further differentiate themselves, more icing on the cake. De Bethune does provide all of this in various ways, and that's one of the reasons I personally like their work so much.

Therefore, although DB2024 is one of the most basic movements of De Bethune, it still has many advantages, at least it is the brand's "entry level" price. "DB25" actually refers to the case series rather than the specific model. The De Bethune DB25 series includes everything from simple content like "Midnight Blue" and "White Night" to perpetual calendar. The De Bethune DB25 chassis is a streamlined version of the DB28. There are no obvious lugs, but through the skeletonization of the lugs, you can indeed get a hint for the design. This is De Bethune's answer to the dress case.

It's not small either, 44 mm wide, but considering the relatively short lugs, it fits nicely. These De Bethune DB25 models all look really good with 18k rose gold-polished blue titanium dial elements. Who can better titanium than De Bethune? I haven't encountered it, it's for sure.

The De Bethune DB25 Midnight Blue and White Night watches are unique in their classic, almost traditional dials, which combine the brand's modern lines with historical elements such as Poguet-style fuel-injected hands and Arabic numerals (on the DB25 Midnight Blue ). The outside of the dial is very different from the inside, and is richly curved to increase visual appeal. I like the dial to be simple, but certainly not flat.

Like I said, the deep and deep blue used on the dial is specially processed and polished titanium, and I believe it is heat treated like blue steel. The result is really cute and adds specialness to these already elegant designs. Those who don't believe De Bethune can watch clothes now have the answer.

I'm really curious how these De Bethune DB25 Midnight Blue and White Night watches perform. They are certainly attractive, but are they too different from what most De Bethune customers want? Maybe they put too much energy into the field of fashion watches where other brands have a stronger foothold? Although these are amazing timepieces, some may find their prices too simple. Are proprietary and skills sufficient? Collectors are picky, but often logical, and I hope to have enough opportunities to see the value of avant-garde fine watches, such as these two models.Greubel Forsey Signature 1 replica Watches
