Let's face it... dumb clicking to level up some skills to 99
was already bad enough but if you wanted it all then that's what you
did. Besides gaining some items to show off like capes and the like...
names... yada-yada-yada... being around the top page of this hi-scores

table... or about the individual skills tables meant you're"the best"
and ought to be worshipped. Or at least be highly thought of. Adults
knew it was just hours of your real life spent in a game clicking away
ad nauseam. Anyone recall Zezima worship? A small army of followers a
fall-fall-following him everywhere. OMG occasions three!! Get a life
nooblets!
The point is that in many ways a number of the skills
became worthless after you attained a certain level though I will
concede Jagex made some type of effort to change that over the years
with new content. The idea was to make them fun again or at least for
there to be a point. Tracking: a lot of that content was also pointless
or downright stupid! Oops! So much for modification. In any case, just
because there's new content doesn't mean it'll be fun or worthwhile in
even a small step. Additionally, it may just be installed for uber quick
leveling up so that each of the crybabies will be pacified. Think
Divination ability here... and the principal mini-game created for fast
leveling. It all was there to do was to allow individuals to achieve a
99 ASAP. Again I must ask the question... what's the purpose? Was there a
point? Not actually... and folks wonder why so many gamers hang and
wish for the day when Jagex would knock off the shenanigans and go back
to RS ahead of the quacked era began... which was right around the
period of Construction. The game was really FUN back then aside from
cheaters using bots.
To finish up, I will admit I haven't been on
RS since 2012 when my account had been hacked. I dropped about 1.5
billion in money and items... never got anything back nor was my
accounts restored. I told Jagex give me back what I earned or you
misplaced my money for more members play indefinitely... they never said
a peep via email so that was . I finished out my membership time,
converted into F2P for a brief period then discovered another sport to
spend my cash on. I did find out exactly what happened to my account
however... it had been the fantastic Yahoo hack of a couple years back -
that's how the hackers obtained my advice. For this day I wonder just
how many players lost it due to that same thing happening to them... I
bet it was a lot.
Not one of us understood for a long time -

and some people went overboard checking our systems for malware to
never find any. Obviously there was not... that the hackers had obtained
over a billion Yahoo account passwords. They didn't need to hack any
further. All they needed to do is log on to any given Yahoo account and
check for evidence of an RS accounts get the most out of it if something
helpful was found. That is EXACTLY the way I lost nearly everything I'd
taken years to make... and it is why Jagex missing a loyal customer.
NO. It wasn't... but the least they could have done was reestablish my
account since it wasn't my fault either. They all needed to do was
restore my account... that's all I asked for. End result? They couldn't
even return an email.
That does seem about right though...
doesn't it? They seem to be conducting bad business yet years later in
more ways than the participant
reddit benefits nothing either way.
End
thought? The more things change the more they remain the same! So get a
life people... and do something in the actual world. Go to school. Read
some books. Practice some REAL skills... like playing a tool. Work with
wood or metals... learn to code. Grow food. Do SOMETHING from the REAL
world and change your world! Best wishes!
