2 States is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy film[1] directed by Abhishek Varman based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. It is produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala .[2] The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.[3][4] The film released on April 18, 2014 and earned mixed to positive reviews from critics and has been received exceptionally well by the masses.
