  Instead of focusing so much on Tamanna’s navel and having zoom cameras on her hips, Lawrence should have focused on developing the plot and giving it some depth. The emotional intensity looked amateur. Editing department was sleeping. The first half had nothing important and the comedy was typically silly. The interval bang was stylish and Lawrence proved his mettle there. Second half got into some emotional melodrama but again the dragged length, that ‘Arva Paithyam’ could not be missed from him.The one and only reason why audience should feel lucky is due to Prabhas. If this film has to work then it is only due to his presence.As expected, the openings will be good but this definitely doesn’t have the material to score at the box office.

  The comic scenes between Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala are not engaging.Marthand Venkatesh's editing could have been better as sometimes it kind of created too short a sequence taking away the feel of the film.Art department came with good settings while the action episodes were also impressive, costumes were perfect to each character.The film belongs to hard-core Prabhas fans as the movie is stylish and visually rich but not much in content.

  Prabhas looks quite handsome throughout the movie. Rebel Star Krishnam Raju has played a crucial role in the film and he is good as the powerful Don Bhupathi.Rebel Telugu Movie first half is filled up with Rushi(Prabhas) trying to find out who is Steffen Robinson? How he looks like?. Comedy portion handled by Brahmanandam. Few scenes with Brahmanandam & Kovai Sarala were not good. Tamanna introduction song, little skin show by her and Prabhas dances moves are good. Second half is very week. Some of the fight scenes are good. Boring flashback which shows key roles of Krishnam Raju & Deeksha Seth. Fight Sequences which are choreographed by Ram Laxma for last ten minutes in the climax were good. Rebel Star Prabhas has tried for mass crowds this time. Rebel is a mass offering that will appeal to hardcore Prabhas fans.Tamanna with superb dances and high glamour attracts the audience. But Lawrence could not sustain in this moment. Long second half will also work against the movie. For regular commercial cinema lovers, Rebel will be an ok watch.
