With Wrestlemania 30 on the horizon, all of the feuds and rivalries within WWE are reaching their climax, and the match card is beginning to take shape.
Currently the only matches confirmed are Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar, and yes, they are actually going to have Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight title (unless a change is made in the next few weeks). Other matches are pretty much set to go – such as John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and a possible unification match between US Champion Dean Ambrose & Intercontinental Champion Big E.
Crucially missing from the list however, is Daniel Bryan. The same Daniel Bryan who for the better part of the last year has been arguably the best in-ring talent, and is inarguably the most popular star on the whole roster. Despite his popularity, a Daniel Bryan match has yet to be announced.
It makes sense then that Daniel Bryan’s opponent will be none other than Triple H himself, in a match that pits bully vs. victim, oppressor vs. oppressed in a match that’s been almost 9 months in the making. While this potential match isn’t perhaps everyone’s ideal, here’s my list of reasons why it could be a great match and a great Wrestlemania moment.
