Denis Villeneuve to direct The Story of Your Life

    Denis Villeneuve is all set to hold the camera for a screen adaptation of The Story of Your Life’s written piece. It is ascience fiction short story, penned by Ted Chiang. It was also the winner of the 2000 Nebula Award for Best Novella as well as the 1999 Sturgeon Award. The script of the film of the same name has been written by Eric Heisserer who is also co-producing the project with others.

    The reports say that the makers are trying to get the movie on the floors by the end of this year. Villeneuve became the hot favourite for producers following the success of his flick, Prisoner, released last year. The Story of Your Life is about the time when alien crafts land around the world and an expert linguist gets hired by the military to find out whether the aliens have come for some good or for some other unfolded reasons.
