  Jab Tak Hai Jaan (As Long as I'm Alive) is an upcoming 2012 Bollywood film directed by Yash Chopra, written and produced by Aditya Chopra under their production house Yash Raj Films. The film features Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles, making it the first film to pair Khan and Kaif and the second collaboration between Khan and Sharma. This is Yash Chopra's fourth film to feature Khan in the lead role. The film, termed as a love triangle, marks the return of Yash Chopra as a director after eight years, his last film being Veer-Zaara in 2004.
  The soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman, who will be working with Yash Chopra for the first time in his career. The film is scheduled for release on 13 November 2012.

      Shahrukh Khan as Samar Anand
  
      It was reported that Shahrukh Khan would play a role spanning across two life stages; first, in his 20s of a role resembling that of his earlier performance Raj from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), while the second of a more matured age, an army officer in Ladakh.
  
      Katrina Kaif as Radhika
  
      Prior to the film's release, Kaif's role was described as "the archetypal Yash Chopra seductress; an unattainable beauty". She was reported to have put in a significant amount of work to make her character believable, and was helped by Khan, who had prior experience with the director. Kaif faced difficulty at times while filming in London due to the cold weather.
  
      Anushka Sharma as Akira
  
      Anushka Sharma was reported to have been portraying the second female lead in the film. However, in April 2012, it was reported that she would be playing only an extended cameo appearance in the film. This was later denied by their official spokesperson. Later in an interview with a leading daily journal, Anushka stated, "I play a girl by the name Akira. She is a 21 year old who wants to work for Discovery Channel and make documentaries. She is extremely ambitious and would do anything to make it big and realize her dreams.

      Kaif's father in the film. He stated in an interview that his role in the film was a cameo appearance.
