The super success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani calls for a celebration and it was the movie’s heroine Deepika Padukone who threw a success bash over the weekend and got most of her friends under one roof, including Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singhand even Siddharth Mallya. Do these names ring a bell to you? Well, it’s not surprising that Deepika Padukone’s big party had everyone from her ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor to her alleged current beau Ranveer Singh in attendance. She has worked with both the actors and shares a cordial relationship, but what comes as a big surprise is the presence of Siddharth Mallya. It was heard that the two are not on talking terms.
However, recently at an interview with a TV channel, Deepika admitted being friends with Siddharth, and that there is no bitterness between the two.
Deepika Padukone’s party at her residence over the weekend also saw the who’s who of the industry. Among the filmmakers,
Karan Johar,
Ayan Mukerji,
Imtiaz Ali and
Anurag Kashyap made their presence felt at the get together.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, stars like
Aamir Khan and
Priyanka Choprawere also invited.
Imran Khan, who happens to be a close buddy of Deepika, was also at the party.
The main attraction of the party was the dashing Ranbir Kapoor. The Kapoor lad reportedly enthralled the guests with his solo dance performance, but we guess the highlight of the success bash was indeed the attendance of Deepika’s three “good friends”. For, three, at times, is not a crowd.
