  It’s been eons since Salman Khan was seen in a Sooraj Barjatya film. The director gave Salman his first major break in Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989) and immortalized him on the big screen as Prem. The star may have traded his lover boy roles for more serious and action ones, but his fans do want to see him again as Prem.

   

  Sooraj Barjatya was eager to make a film with Salman for quite some time, and finally things have started moving. The project is very much on, and Salman has even asked producer Boney Kapoor to let go of his dates from No Entry Mein Entry so that he can shoot for Barjatya’s film first.

   

  But the question is: who will play the lead actress in Barjatya’s film? It’s learnt that a massive hunt is going on for the movie’s heroine. There are rumours that Kareena Kapoor might do the film, and there’s also buzz that Deepika Padukone could be roped in as she has never romanced Salman on screen.

   

  Salman Khan will reportedly start shooting for the movie in June 2014 and the film is likely to hit the theatres on Diwali 2015. Sooraj Barjatya is even ready with the script of the film, which, in keeping with the tradition of the Barjatyas, is a family drama. The movie is said to be a story of two brothers. While Salman will play the elder one, search is on for the younger brother.

  Currently, Sallu is busy with Mental that stars two newbies -- Sana Khan and Daisy Shah. Soon after Mental, he has to take care of his Kick with Jacqueline Fernandez. The actress has never done a film with Salman.

   

  So, seeing the latest trend of fresh pairs, Salman Khan may be seen opposite a new face or with someone who has never shared screen space with him in his forthcoming Barjatya film. What do you think?
