Walking Dead: A Review of the Dead

  I never thought that I will be able to finish watching the Walking Dead up to the latest season.

              It seems to me that it was just yesterday when I was buying a dvd copy from the downtown area. At first I was hesitant since I grew tired watching all those gross and meat eating monsters. There was this Dawn of the Dead in which I was fascinated by the idea of living in group inside a mall. I thought it was an enjoying experience since everything was free, not until some zombie could have a munch of your head if you mistakenly went outside. There was also this movie titled Zombieland in which it explains and describes in every detail on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. I thought at first it was funny but altogether a very entertaining movie. Now, let’s get back to the main course,  mean topic, Walking Dead. From the title itself it is about Walkers or zombies, roaming the entire planet after a sinister happened. It was not yet revealed how it happened but i assume it was caused by a deadly virus or chemical that was developed by the military for warfare purposes. It started when our main hero, Ric Grimes, woke up from a coma in a hospital full of walkers. He managed to escape but was shocked to discover that everything has changed. Until a survivor, together with his son, saved Ric and explained to him that something happened and every person who died reanimates and eats the living. Of all the season that i have watched, I liked Aeason 1 the most since everything was made realistic and thrilling. I was even told that a single episode is worth 3 million dollars. It was also made entirely different from past zombie films. I also liked the character of Ric since he was able to lead the group to survive despite everything that happened. He was a role model, developed from his own sense of justice. Now that Season 4 ended, I felt that it was really short and was not able to portray the real climax of the story. But then again, this is to make the viewers hooked to the program for a very long time.
